I fished fox, throwing stick and 2 or 3 rods onto a big baited area worked well for me and my mate in an open water swims if you dont wanna use a spod

I've got a session booked on Kingfisher late next year (already getting excited!)
A couple of questions re boats (assuming the rules don't change....)
Are you allowed to bait up and drop rigs from boats? Rules seem to indicate not allowed, but there are some videos on youtube showing rigs being taken out and dropped.
Are there boats there to use or would I need to take mine with me? I've got a porta-bote so could put it on the roof at the expense of a roof box.

That's always been the rules, but both times I fished kingfisher we were left alone to do whatever and used the boats to drop rigs although it was over 10 years ago. I fished another lake on there last year and there were a couple of Dutch lads on kingfisher fishing for cats using boats to set up tie up livebait rigs. There are boats on site to use, think you have to put a deposit down for one.

It used to years ago pretty sure that's slowly changed I always fished Fox but fancied atilla but I been looking on Facebook page and like u say not much on there lately from atilla.

Will be interested to hear how you get on. My mate has booked it thinking it is a runs water, I'm getting the impression thats not the case now either. Hopefully you fill yer boots and give us something to look forward to!

It's definitely no runs water these days, even wild boar lake can be moody at times. Wasn't much coming out from atilla when I was there last year, the lads on it seemed more intent on getting hammered than catching though tbh

Make sure you take plenty of hard hookbaits etc, the crays can be horrendous at times

Never have, but they are were ravenous on there last summer apparently. I was on wild boar and was told there weren't any, and my mate was getting hammered by them by the second day, I managed to go 4 days before they found my spots. The lads who were on atilla were moaning about them, and a couple of Dutch lads had problems when they fished it earlier last year. Sounds like they are on all lakes there now
