Certainly did, two great goals, the first, any player would be proud of, cracker, and the second, just shear determination, brilliant

Really god damn ugly

Be interesting to see how he does fit into the side though like you say, early doors but has a massive pair of boots to fill as a replacement for Aguero. Long and extra gangly, needs to be good with the feet, wonder if he is related to Crouch somewhere along the line

Yeah he's definitely no nunez in the looks department

He's had unbelievable numbers in Germany and European games. But not against VVD...

Our youngsters - Harvey and carvalho- both ones to watch this season

Fancy arsenal to push on. Chelsea will do ok but with their best defenders leaving and no replacements they'll get a few stuffings too.

Man utd.... Erik tenth hag...

I would say your best signing is the lad from Uruguay, looks super sharp, apparently Suarez was trying to get him signed up in Spain. Might be the one that gets you the title, more goals!

Expect much of the same myself

He's going to get the goals definitely. Suarez knows what he's talking about as a striker.

What do you make of the Ronaldo situation? I'm obviously completely unsurprised by his selfish attitude. He acts like he plays. All about himself.

Testing times for UTD and anybody who takes that job is under pressure, massive expectations!!!

As you know and for me, that team was on its way out the last time Fergie won the premiership, average players and players at the end of their careers, it was him who got them over the line, since then a lot of poor transfer dealings, Mourinho and rest, no teamwork just over paid players. See what happens this season

As for Ronaldo, a class player at the end of his career, if he wants to go, let him. Fergie built a team around him, OGS dropped him into a team, I think that's the difference

Spot on about Fergie. The worst deal Fergie ever done was put Moyes forward as his successor whoever got that job was on a hiding to nothing.
As far as Ronaldo goes if they let him go it looks like he is bigger than United but he is showing his true colours now.
As for the title depends how long it takes for Haaland to fit into the system and without Sterling who scored a few deciding goals from the bench.
Mane was a huge player for Liverpool but looks like Dias is capable of filling that role and Nunez looks like he has slotted in ok.
Don't see anyone touching City or Liverpool again race for 3rd and 4th could be interesting.
Looks like Leicester offloading players to balance the books.

Klopp and Mane had both discussed him leaving at the end of the season, hence the Dias transfer in January. Great planning giving him time to settle before mane left.

City have sold some very good squad players so maybe a transition period but let's face it, they've so many classy players that should be able to still beat most teams.

I agree that it's a top 2 then a fight for everyone else below that.

Leicester might drop away a bit. Schmeichel is a big loss and if they lose fofana too then that's a big hole in defence. Maddison, Barnes and Tieleman also rumoured to be potential transfers... all very good players that would be hard to replace

Well....

Fulham absolutely deserve their point today. We didn't wake up until the 2nd half. Thank god for mo and nunez (lovely goal)

Spuds knock the gunners off top spot - expected a bit more noise on here about that
