They're not a favourite of mine but yes they were and probably the 1st ever synth duo and the others followed.

I know nothing about the band, not even their name till I googled it but I've had this song in my head all afternoon

Yes that's the problem,(if it is a problem) but this thread has introduced me to so much good music there isn't enough hours in the day to really delve into all the artists more

Tinhead - agreed. Still the best non carp thread. Even if it's just for a select few... discovered some great new / old stuff and rediscovered a whole load of great music too.

Keebs, I love Newtons version of teardrop too. It's such a good song you'd have to be a real pollock to mess it up.
