What's really weird is your wording has now gone from a pandemic of knife crime ( generalising when you meant amongst gang culture and then you mention football hooligans, both minorities so hardly a pandemic)
to rife with knife crime??! Also I think you meant knife crime is endemic
Stats state facts and the facts are that very few people even carried knives in the 80's or 90's making it very difficult for people to use them

I grew up in East London and although it was tough at times I look back to the days when I was at school were if there were words said then it could be settled with a bit of fisticuffs, not these days though

I've read a lot of literature, autobiographies and history books, watched many documentaries, listened to lectures. You know, educated myself on a subject before talking about it.

Sources for my views are;
- people that have lived in London for over 40 years, in areas that have had gang violence throughout that time
- people that have been or are still in gangs both locally and in other areas
- books, documentaries and audio from ex-gang members.
- also my own personal experiences with my town and surrounding areas and what I know to have happened even if it wasn't reported to the police or local news.

See how delusional you are, maybe I am missing something here but there is nowhere in your posts where you made a distinction between pandemic and epidemic, anyway it's all just words and contrary to what has been posted on here I think that knife crime in the 80's was regarded as somewhat more serious than it is today so I would disagree that it wasn't reported, in fact I would say it was reported more than it is now when it is an everyday occurance it's just that it didn't happen anywhere near as much as it does today, be a man Viktor and admit you made an error, it's not hard to admit you're wrong,maybe you should re- read your own posts!
Oh and for clarity, I am far from a supporter of Boris Johnson so don't imply that mate, something you are very good at by the way

I remember when there was a lot of text speak on here and it was frowned upon by the majority and it pretty much died completely, you still don't see much of it on here. When it comes to spelling and grammar there's a lot more tolerance as we all didn't get A+ marks, as long as people are understood then it's not mentioned as there's some very good anglers on here and we don't want miss their input just because their writing isn't 100% .
Wayne you make a few mistakes on here and there but we all know what you mean and anyone pretending that they don't must be the ones with a problem. Apart from here I bet no one ever pulls you up when you talk about fishing on the main forum and that's how it should be
