Wonder if we are starting to work him out?
Nasty atmosphere today. Worse than Brisbane IMO. To my mind it takes a lot of the pleasure out of watching/listening. Surely the umpires need to step in now. Can't see Dickie Bird letting that sort of language go unchecked.

Imo he's got inside there heads, but he is himself pretty fragile mentally, all it would take is one of our more aggressive batsman to really get after him and that would nullify him for the rest of the series, the trouble is the only batsman I feel could do it is kp, but he's not in great touch atm.
Stokes and carberry have that aggressive nature but not the experience I think.
I'm not overly worried about Perth, broad and tremlett should enjoy it there, I wouldn't be surprised to see bresnan come in for swanny for that one aswell

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse...
Firstly let me say im not a great cricket watcher, however i do always try and watch the ashes,
so far i can honestly say England have been ***** !!
They all need to grow a set of nuts and actually realise they are representing their countries !! they look like a bunch of scared schoolboys , that will burst into tears coz the aussies are giving them a bit of verbals !!!
no fight, no idea, pathetic !!
its nearly as bad as that scottish **** winning sports fixed personality of the year !!
Paddy.

hes only scottish wen hes losing mate, wen hes winning hes british
Great knock from stokes, dissapointing though that it takes a 22 year old in his second test match to show our batsmen how it's done!
Changes have to be made, I'm not a great fan of ballance but he's in form, maybe kp should miss out, if he wasn't captain cook would be next in the firing line.
swanny's getting knocked around the park and not threatening with ball or bat, I'd drop him for onions to add a wicket taker to the attack. While if broad doesn't make it it's a toss up between Finn or tremlett.
I'm really pi**ed at the lack of balls our 'top players' have shown and cook has to take a lot of the blame for being so negative! In the summer he consistently released the pressure when aus were struggling giving them the momentum here.

First off, Congratulations to the Aussies. Superb, gritty display. Full of determination, aggression and pride.
England .... I've been saying it all year, England's batting line up is pathetic and nothing has been done about it. They have been saved, time and again, by the bowlers. Now we see what happens when the bowling fails.
MASSIVE wholesale changes need to be made in the lineup. (After I have won my bet for 5-0 Australia
).
I really cba to go into who needs kicking out, but imo a lot of P45's would be used.

I agree.
Well done to the Ausies.
They surely came back hard down under.
But Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel will sort them out come next year.
Just hope England comes back and give them a bit of a fight these remaining tests.

Was going to be his last tour anyway. He seemed to be shaking his arm a lot when bowling, don't think the surgery worked.
People are slagging him for bailing mid tour, but what's the point carrying on if you can't bowl the 30 overs they need him to, plus the Aussies are packed with right handers - suits Monty more than Swanny anyway.

Fair play to Swanny his arms not up to it so hes going, nothing to play for as we have lost the Ashes and he does not want to aggrevate the injured arm
Hes done us proud over the years
