He was getting rizla out his glovebox whilst in the passenger side and they approached him as they thought he was robbing the car. After the checks were done and checked out they moved on to drink driving, he was in passenger side with keys in his pocket
I'm sure I've told you this story before.
They could have left once he checked out but they didn't. They wanted a collar and tried their hardest to get one. After they failed with him and I told him to just leave as they have no reason to detain him they started on me. Beggars belief really.
Not sure how you can say anything post checking his details were correct was required or justified. I get why they pulled over in the first place but again, they were aggressive from the off.
You can try and justify all of that however you want but it's impossible
They were on a power trip looking for an arrest. All gee'd up they'd come across a crime in progress and when it wasn't they couldn't leave it.

I have heard these type of things from others but I also know plenty of others that don't have problems.
All I can say is I've not had any problems, the way my daughter acted didn't cause her any problems.
Let's hope you don't have another run in with the police but if you do and you act stroppy then they'll likely be consequences.

If you're innocent there can be no consequences. If I was guilty I probably wouldn't be hanging about to get caught!
As I said it's personal experience. Mine have been negative therefore I lack the trust and respect most people have in the police force as a whole organisation. I know it's not all of them but I don't plan on finding out which ones they are tbh.
My point was that it doesn't take much more than a few incidents whether you're involved or witness them to feel a certain way. Kids that grow up with crime around them more likely than not have little respect for the police. For criminals they are another enemy but I'm talking in general about normal people who see it and get profiled and have to deal with it. Telling them to suddenly just trust and respect the police will never work.

Maybe it's your attitude towards the law that's the problem
Funny old game, all coppers are *******s. Different story when a drug rat calls them up asking for protection because there's a team outside wanting to give him a good beating etc. Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc. Etc. happens all the time
Tell you what, if it was me I would get lost on the way and drive at 5mph
Here's some more feedback based on facts. Ethnic groups are the biggest racists about. You white **** is a favourite phrase, white lesbian bitch is another, see the colour pattern, not to mention against each other blacks, Asians, add Eastern European's and it get better still
And don't forget the favourite phrase, is it because I'm black

My attitude to the police is based on their attitude towards me. Explain to me the situation I described and how to justify it. You can't, even thought your likely to make some weak excuse. If your misses is plod then show her and ask her if that's how they teach them to operate. See what she says.
Not really sure what the rest of your rant is about tbf.

I've stayed out for a little while but you obviously have a problem with the police and your past experiences have formed this opinion. You are able to stereotype all police as bad but the police aren't allowed to stereotype you!
Just a step back your brother an unknown risk leans into a car. You said he looked like he was robbing the car. I say he saw police and has possibly dumped something In the car or was reaching for a weapon. Two sides same story 😀 also you can be drunk in charge of a motor vehicle without driving.
Not all police are bad and who would you call when you have a problem!

Clearly you cannot read. I explained that he was already in the car. Passenger side with keys in his pocket before the police turned up. Why are people saying “reaching in to a car when the police are present”?
Some people are too dumb
If I'd had any encounters with police that were positive then I wouldn't just assume they are all d*ckheads from the off. But I haven't so 🤷🏻♂️
I'd call the ghostbusters.

Oh well I'm obviously a thick **** who can't read 😀 oh well I'll survive.
If you have never had a positive experience with the police maybe that says something about you. The vast majority of this country have neither had positive or negative encounters with the police, possibly because they haven't met the police or place themselves in positions where police have had to introduce themselves.
I'd call ghostbusters - sums you up 😡

That's the whole problem stereotyping people!
Same as the earlier comment about old folk and racism!
And then you wonder why we will never move forward. It takes effort from all. everybody, otherwise forget it and that is why it will remain for many years to come sadly
That why i said earlier, everybody has their own personal agendas, sometimes you have to eat humble pie
Forgot to mention, one of my missus colleagues is a Chinese lad, nice fella. He is coining it in, did you know every time they get a racist comment against them they get £50 compensation

Totally innocent at all times. It says a lot about the police for how they treat innocent people. Keep trying to say that “it must be something to do with you then” when in reality it's because you cannot even attempt to justify the conduct I've described but you want to try and defend the police to death. Maybe I have been unlucky enough to draw the short straw and encounter the ‘bad apples' on multiple occasions, or maybe it's because they all have the same mentality (whether that's more general or only when their at work I don't know) of loving the power.
“Sums you up” -
K then
