Just come back from a week on Fox. First 3 days a sudden heatwave didn't help with the fish having spawning on their minds. Still blanking on Tuesday (Arrived Saturday) then suddenly fish started to appear over the spots and then 3 fish in 3 hours, 31.4, 45 and 25. Cooler from Tuesday on seemed to help. Only 1 more fish from original swim 27.10 then moved to showing early morning fish on Thursday across other side of the lake. Thursday night 5 takes between 1am and 6am, landed 3 and Fri night 4 takes, same times landed 2. 8 of the 9 takes all from the same spot and all 5 fish landed between 22 and 29lb. All fish coming to small amounts of particle (half a boat about 1KG), bought 30KG of boiles and 30KG of pellet home. Fish were spawning Fri night. Generally quite hard work with long periods of inactivity and short bursts of intense feeding. Not as grim as Heron though, the fish spawned there early in the week and then laid up for the rest of the week and the boys on there had a really slow week.

Are the crays still a problem on fox? What have people been doing to get round them plastic baits or just fish particle?

What are the chances of getting a ticket for a week end of September this year? Going on my own that is?

Do you book via the website?

Just use whatever bait you normally catch with at home.
Any decent bait will catch if put in the spot.
I see no need to change your bait just because your going to France.
Enjoy

Yeah I understand that but if a preferred bait is going in day in day out wouldn't you take that?
