I think there are different versions but the one I know is you put an app on a firestick play some bloke some money and you get loads of channels including sport for free. It does play up occasionally but that's the chance you take.
I'm not an expert but create an IPTV thread or resurrect an old one and see what others say

You don't have to physically take it apart you have to download an app called Matrix STB.
There might be others ways of doing but that's how you do it on a Firestick.
