Scozza, you haven't understood my post.
The people who fought in WWII were good people. They were brave. They put themselves in danger to help others. I think their actions were admirable.
These same traits - empathy, altruism, generosity etc are often, today, seen as something to be sneered at. I think sneering at good people is bad.

Like most people I'm a glutton for punishment and can't resist opening and reading a thread but most of the time I'm left slightly depressed hence why lately I'm trying to avoid tit for tats.
