I'm not getting into the left and right and who shouts loudest, this should be a level of the playing field on all sides including the middle ground.
With the pandemic and its fallout this allows for a start of change economically and the reformatting of society.

I reckon 90 % of people aren't bothered by that statue in Bristol getting pulled down, don't see anything wrong with Churchill having a statue, think the cenotaph should be respected, don't really mind if they can't stream Little Britain any more, and think racism is a bad thing.
It's the other ten percent that are the problem.

Been plenty of advice by those prominent in the ‘urban' scene to the young people that use violence daily (gang members) to not get drawn out by the right wing extremists and cause violence and to stay in their areas instead to protest.
End of the day you've got a load of extreme right wing people (these likely have the Proper racists of the country among them) going to London to most likely incite violence like they did the other day in Hertfordshire by shouting racist things at protesters. Problem is they will he met by gang members that use violence on a daily basis and aren't at all afraid of stabbing or shooting someone. If it erupts it'll end in a blood bath and a load of white men probably dead at the hands of gang members, a majority black. A race war will ignite, like a proper one.

They are just worried about CV, will they have a job, when will they see friends and family again and a return to normality. But let's not worry about them and pander to those that shout loudest.

I agree with you - Joe Average (copyright tinhead) would probably say 'yeah that's me'.
Where I differ slightly is that, in this instance, I hope for people to do a bit more / try a bit harder. Being 'not racist' is a good start - but it's time for more people to be more proactive in challenging those who are - IMHO. Peacefully and reasonably like the demo today and in a way that promotes the positive message of equality for all.
I can do without Boris et al saying 'we can't censor history' whilst refusing to acknowledge that has been happening for centuries. Colston's plaque conveniently left out his slave trading - history censored. Lots of examples that need some redress and discussion and education can then be part of the process.
Another clever person said 'History is written by the victors' (maybe a slight paraphrasing there). It's true and there's no harm in telling the rest of the story in a fair society.
