I have been and seen the lake a few times, not my cup of tea, where do you start if you are an old school angler? Inland sea is the best way I can describe it and from the reports I have read over recent years , what is the real attraction?? A couple of 80lb ex Chanty fish removed and relocated in other venues, so far only 1 of them returned to where it belongs, but even after the commercial world carp masters comps nothing caught to inspire most people to fish there.

Mate if you're considering fishing chanty I'm pretty sure you must be experienced enough to know that if you can't get on fish 50kg is 50kg too much and if you're on numbers of fish 50kg might not last you 3 days.

You just need to take as much as you're comfortable taking buddy. Bulk it out with shelfies or take dry particle and cook it up on the bank if you're concerned about wastage. You can always bring that stuff home.
