I think England should sit down and watch Rohit's 161 on how to use your feet to get to the pitch of the ball to nullify the amount of turn instead of playing from the crease.

Well played India better in all departments. What gets me is trying to save a test and over half get out to attacking shots. At least make the oppo work for the win. At least the next one is a day/nighter with a pink ball so Anderson will play but don't forget India have a decent seam attack as well so could be an interesting match.

Haven't seen today's play yet, but it was unlikely they'd hang in for a draw.
Just a shame we didn't see any fight, a couple of 50 partnerships amongst the top 4 and the stroke players may have fancied it

Another shocker.

Crawley looked a different player to the walking wicket he was in Sri Lanka tho, about the only positive I could find

Yep Crawley looked a different class to the rest but like i said before if they start using their feet to get to the pitch of the ball then it doesn't matter if the ball turns or not you can just play straight don't know what the coaches are teaching them.

On the last tour to Sri Lanka, England dominated by using the sweep/reverse, that shot is high risk against these quicker spinners, and the variable bounce has done for a lot of the batsmen. Three big failures says they haven't been able to adapt

Excellent fightback by England 5fer for the skipper. However i fear much the same for our batters and we need to put some partnerships together.

I think some questions need to be asked regarding the wicket , for a wicket to be in that state so early , i know the home side will prepare a wicket to suit their style of play , but this is getting silly and dangerous for the faster bowlers , also there is another test to be played there shortly !

ICC are scared of the BCCI so can't see that and no one has been injured but this is what the last two days of a test should be not the first two.

Pink ball playing a day/nighter not taking into account that India would produce another turner.

Just ridiculous. This is not why I watch test cricket...and it's not because I am English and hate seeing us being humiliated; it's simple because these wickets are simply not good enogh for Test Matches.
