Tell you want I'm sat here thinking Mal, how much crowd pressure influences players. Southampton have been very good and seem really confident. Like Martial at UTD, all of a sudden banging them in. I wonder if it makes a difference, must do?

I was thinking that watching Liverpool but for the opposite reasons
That saints goal would've taken the roof off if the fans were there... but he maybe wouldn't have scored it if they were like you say.
The league will be a lot poorer when David Silva goes. One of my favourite players of the last decade

Result for Southampton!
To be fair, City were unlucky but you have to get the ball in the net. Some proper talent in that City side and what amazes me is how comfortable they are on the ball, just patience and patience all the time, looking for the little touches in and around the box. Didn't work today though

Really enjoyable game.
Saints were great albeit with a bit of luck and last ditch defending. Got to give city credit for playing like they still had something to play for. I guess pep can't send a team out to not win.
Much better match than most of the post lockdown games I've watched.
Micah Richards needs to get more time on motd too. Very funny

That's football for both teams, up one week down the other, suprised me City though, probably the worst season for a while or the completion has upped their game and got used to their style of play

It's going to sound like I'm biased.... but.....
There's been 1 exceptional team this year. Then city still better than the rest. Then a few of the other usual suspects going through transition and the likes of wolves and the blades really shaking things up with exciting (wolves) and tactically astute (Sheffield) football.

I agree with that, the pool were.
The regular top 4 teams have been knocking on the door so to speak but they are quite away off for me at the moment
And like you say, what Wolves have done and Sheff U is pretty remarkable when you compare budgets and spending. goes to show, teamwork and a genuine desire will take you places
