actually that's a fair point - however, two words...
Graeme Souness....
The MOTD shows that Lineker, Shearer and Wrighty have been doing are great - pity they still think football was invented with the start of the Premier League, but it guess it helps make the lists manageable.
Also enjoying the Match of Their Day shows as well.
