That was football back then, two footed challenges and some fist. The Leeds and Liverpool games were tasty to say the least

Have a google if quite and watch a few, looks like playing in slow frame compared to today's game with extra violence, all part of the era

So much for Jimmy Greaves when Sunday football started, 4 pints before the game and a Sunday dinner, then a hat trick

In fact, all of a sudden I can imagine Bivvie, Magoo, Jim and Ralph having a game

Don't know about the others but I was **** hot 😉

That's about the strength of it yes with the exception of Ralph, Due to his size Ralph was employed as a chimney sweep from the age of 5 therefore he didn't do much schooling.
