Apparently they have only named the squad for the first two tests and said Foakes is playing in the second so don't know about third and fourth tests yet.

Just a heads up for those that don't have sky , the series against India which starts on Friday at 4am is being shown live on channel 4 , all four tests as well 👍👍

Ive never liked tests starting on fridays, your back at work for days 4 and five and can't follow it properly

I'll forgive burns his brainfart, it was a bad time to try it and was poorly executed, but I like him giving the bowlers something to think about.
That's one issue with this partnership, it seems to me burns gets in, gets the 50 partnership in the bag and feels he has to kick on to balance sibleys dour strike rate
Hopefully England are still batting at breakfast

Fantastic win for England. Leach got the ball rolling but Anderson ripped the heart out of India's batting with
an awesome spell of bowling. Bess bowls too many loose balls at this level unless he can get consistency to hold up one end there will be calls for him to be dropped. Be interesting to see if India make any changes for Saturday. England's selectors will want to bring Broad in but for who? At least we know Foakes is playing.

Yeah agree with run rate but must remember Ali hasn't bowled much in the last year plus they have these plans
to get batsmen out whilst putting a couple of men close to each other is leaving gaps elsewhere.
The other thing is the pitch is breaking up already and i didn't think the last one did on the first day.
Still surprised they dropped Bess though.
