There's two of us. i go to france at less two or three times a year, my mate has only been once. so i'm looking for some where to fit both of us

Like mentioned below, there is a general Abbey thread already running on here. There is also an additional set of text available on my personal Facebook profile, Rupert Whiteman, that should fill in all the gaps for you
Regards swims, we don't reserve them.. or allow you too lol.. It's easier to allow our Anglers to check in at 8am (and check the others at 10am), giving them a couple of hours to walk the complex and have a chat with those departing so they can choose something themselves, rather than second guessing where'll be hot or not a year or more in advance!!
We can always accomodate 2 Anglers, so simply drop us an email to info@abbeylakes.com or ring the booking office between 0800-1200 or 1700-1900hrs (EUROPEAN TIME)
We do have plenty of availability in April 2014 IF YOU'RE QUICK, there are quite a few whole weeks taken on the complex on various lakes but if you are looking to travel in a group of 2-4 and are flexible, there is no reason we can't find you a slot..
(Pleae note that we are already taking bookings for the end of the 2015!! season now, so if you want to visit us, don't delay in contacting us otherwise it may be too late for any provisional dates you have in mind?!)

Can't wait heading over next Friday to fish Heron, just shy of a 600 mile drive there

hi guys me and my oldman fished heron last year, i cant remember the swim number but it was the end of the spit opposite the island. we decided to go with a few different strategies, we used the cell as it was a known catcher there and also took another bait ( liver and tuna acebaits) , we decided to bait one area very heavy right off the island in front of us. and a few margin spots. other rigs were cast in bags. i have to say that it was the bagged rods with just a handful of boilies over it that produced the most fish, but we took the larger carp towards the latter end of the week off the large heavily baited areas. the large area baited was with cell, the boilie that produced most the fish for us was liver and tuna they loved it, we mixed it up with different boilie sizes and just a simple bolt rig, the venue is lovely, and everythign you need is there. the carp are stunning, we took a good few fish with the biggest being a 47lb mirror, also had a 45lb common, but some real lumps in there, one guy had a 62lb out our week. we went first week of september. dont ignore the margins, the amount of times we were up early first light watching the carp mill about right under your rod tips. also dont go tight to the island and features, the carp were taken about 10 yds off of them. top place and really enjoyed it with some stunning fish and great people that work there. food was top notch.

It's amazing mate the fish are stunning when u get on them may call for a beer when I get there it's craig by the way hope u get a few wakers the big un normally comes out when your there so fingers crossed for u both we are on fox !!!!
