The 100km rule has been lifted and as the uk.have brought in the quarantine rule from.monday I would assume it would be ok to travel from Monday otherwise why introduce it on the 8th if the borders not open

I thought it was'nt so much the travel out which is the problem (French borders opening 15th June)
but more the 14 day quarantine on returning to the UK after the 8th June?
I realise it will be hard to enforce it but there will be checks and if you are working will your employers
be happy for you to break it? (unless you have a 3 week holiday!)

5 of us had a week booked on Parco next month but informed last week that our flights had been cancelled. Contacted Antonio and Nicholas and they were quick to offer remaining dates in 2021 & 2022 at no extra cost to us.
Credit where credit is due and some good dates sorted for 2022.
Fingers crossed too for a trip to Abbey in October this year.

Did you travel over by ferry?
Keen to find out what you need to do on arrival back to the UK.
I would like to go out on the 27th June but i think its a 50/50 bet at the moment.

Whichever means of transport you intend to use doesn´t matter, the rules and the paperwork are the same. If you are going out sometime in June and not returning until after 29 June, I would suggest that the quarantine rules will have been lifted by that return date and you won´t have to worry! I am going to Spain on 5 July for 4 days, not fishing but golfing and buying duty free cigars (lots of them).

Monsters crashing all around happy days 😍
So we drove all the way down no probs at all. Didn't see an official or gendarme at all. English customs waved us through no stop and french customs was closed up.
George and I are registered to work here with a permanent residence so didn't anticipate any real grief. I don't know how it works for non residents at the moment I think it's being reviewed about the 15th, good luck 🤞🤞

We're off to Aqvatika in Italy on 26th. Tunnels booked and France should be open on 15th, so should be fine. Even if they weren't open, they allow transit to another country. Can't wait to get the rods out 🎣🎣
