Heron is pretty weedy and although worse than the past 2 seasons, it's nowhere near as bad as it was in the earlier days, i.e pre 2009!
A boat is handy but not essential, at a guess, at least 85% of every swim is fishable, with issues being limited to pegs 6-8 and 10-12

keeping the kitchen open and providing the bar for any mon/wed/sat/sun footy that you guys maybe interested in watching?
Being a Spurs fan Ru, I am surprised you have forgotten that there is footy on a Thursday as well

Andy was one of the guys who had to drop out Rupert ,it was terry gilbert with a pb of 43.10 and me who had the 45 pb plus that cracking 39.2 common .
We had a great week and had some lovely fish thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will definitely be back especially for a chance at the big one we were watching in the corner .
When the smallest of the 4 fish in the swim takes the bait and its a common of that size it gives you an idea of the quality of fish in the complex .
thanks for you invaluable info and help Rupert
