Maybe they've had a look at themselves and realised what a state they're in so are looking to rip it all up and start over. I reckon he's as good a bet as anyone else who would go there right now.
All those years of the Wenger out calls and look at them now. You should be careful what you wish for.

Arteta is like Freddie both ex players with little experience.
I think there are some similarities between Fergy and Wenger both kept the clubs going at the time rather than forward thinking into the future, out of the two Fergy done a better cover up but when they went the weaknesses were exposed.
I'm not sure who should get the job at the moment, if it's someone with a reputation then they certainly need to be prepared to put that reputation on the line. Jose may of been a good choice in the very short term but that would come to an abrupt end when the cash is not splashed, maybe the Spuds have that to come?
