You'll be alright matey, the fishing is steady if nothing else and fish are being caught from all over the lake and to top it off, the sun has poked it's head out and it's due to stay for a little while!

Check the latest pic on the NEW Abbey Facebook page for proof (lol) - We're (finally) all in shades n shorts over here!

See you in a couple of days chap

Ru, can intake my boy on a non angler ticket? Right into his fishing, but still a bit young to fish a place like abbey.

Hi Ru, I'm coming over this weekend for a week on Heron, are there any bait boats for hire on the complex?

Hi mate,

Yep, that's not a problem.. Children up to the age of 9 are free of charge (you didn't say how old?) and if he likes his fishing that much and you don't mind sacrificing a rod, he's welcome to one of yours during your stay.. Providing it's under your supervision!

Kind regards,

Ru

Thanks very much Karl.. Much appreciated and only fair that the rest of the world sees Bruno 'in the flesh'

There are bigger and there are scalier but IMO this is just about the finest Carp swimming!
