Next time you get some of your fermented soy sauce. Add a bit of 'Maggi' liquid seasoning to it. Add it to other stuff to. Don't go mad with it. But it's very good stuff.
Costs about £1.40 a bottle. Cheap, carp and barbel love it. Roach love it on maggots to.

That's old news now mate 
But old, is always gold. I've never smelt that smell on any lake I've ever fished. And you know, you would smell it. So not to many bother.
Since back then, I've been paid pretty much, to play around with 'stuff'. I love playing around with 'stuff' to.

That's free of choice. A couple of spoons is enough.
To get slimy tigers you also shouldn't forget to clean the bucket with boiling water in advance.
Also, i don't at sugar but prefer a dark belgian beer.

Sorry to raise this post again but I've just prepped some Tiger nuts in full fat coke to use on my local river.
Howeverr unlike previous batches these haven't snotted up after a full seven days, they are recently bought nuts from Maltbys any ideas why they haven't turned ?
Was thinking of re boiling them and adding some sugar ?

The preservatives and maybe the low pH of the coke will stop fermentation.

Ditch the coke next time, they slime so much better with water. Plus they are tigers, they need no help at all

As I say they've always worked in the past with coke , and I do like the way they turn out with coke it's just this one time they haven't worked and can't fathom out why ?
