Stayed up through the night and watched us crumble..
Been saying for a long time that trott, cook, prior and root are lucky to have a place. Carberry looks solid at least, needs to smash lyon out of the attack though. I'm pleased for the Aussies, seems we will get a proper ashes series now
I may have to put on an Aussie accent when I get there if it goes tits up

I like carberry, wish he'd tried to play a bit more but must be hard watching all them wickets tumbling at the other end.

I particularly admire his ability to make cricket whites look ghetto, that takes some skill

3rd day nightmare...Kiss this one goodbye Cook and Co...

(Unless Cook and KP can bat for two days!)

Well Carberry wasn't so clever this time round
Trott needs dropping for a game or 2
Was up all night watching again, it's been a brilliant game!
Proper pantomime cricket, Root shadow boxing before bowling to Warner for his century and a hard earned century for Clarke.... Doesn't feel like an ashes series if you're not under pressure
Doubt I'll be awake quite so long tonight, we'll tumble like dominos if cook can't get himself in

More chance of a win than a draw now, if England see out the time left they'll pass 500.

Trott should be dropped and stokes come in at seven to balance the bowling.

Cook bell and kp will have to get 300+ between them to stand a chance.

Good contest though

The Carberry dismissal was a little unfortunate really. Trott though was shocking. Will be lucky to make the 2nd test. Not quite sure who would replace him, perhaps Stokes to bolster bowling as well.

Beefy said 5-0. It's possibly on the cards just the wrong way round if we continue like that.

It is a shame for him and I hope he sorts himself out.

In the meantime bell should move to three and bairstow or stokes come in at 6 or 7, I'd prefer stokes but it would be a gamble.
Ballance would be in the reckoning too but I can't say I'm a fan.

Yeah shame about trott, certainly wasn't in the right frame of mind for a series down under..
Anderson running to the teacher is embarrassing, give as good as you get and don't be a coward!
Well deserved win for the Aussies, Johnson was something else.. He's a potential series winner
Are you sure?
