Levy is clearly gambling on Mourinho getting Spurs back into the top 4 / UCL next year. Spurs HAVE to be in the UCL to pay off that £1B stadium, failure to get into the UCL would cause financial problems in terms of loan repayments.

For all that Poch has done for the club, he has clearly lost the players respect and wont get Spurs back into the top 4 this year. Lets face it, if Mourinho guides Spurs to a UCL win this year Poch will be VERY quickly forgotten about and you'll spend the next 10 years laughing at the goonies cause you won the UCL and they haven't / never will.

Mourinho's style of football is mind numbing, but he does win things. I'd prefer Poch, but Levy has no choice but to gamble.

A champions league win this year,!?!?

I reckon the spurs fans will be as disappointed as the utd fans were. And levy doesn't like to spend money the way that mourinho does.. going to get ugly down there i think

Biggest mistake Spurs have made, was a good manager, idiots. Should have backed him and ****ed the dead wood off

One thing for certain there has to be a nice cash pot for Jose or he wouldn't have taken the job. Might be good for an FA cup before leaving them in loads of debt

Thumbs down all the way for me, Spurs board, ****ers

Wonder if he will get the UTD job now and bring Kane with him

Loving the jose thing at spuds. Its taken chelsea years to repair the damage he done. Just glad he was not allowed any where near our academy or we would be proper ****ed.

First time around I thought he was magical until he threw the teddy out of the cot. You speak first hand of his managerial style. Respect he can put a team together and bore out the results but what's the real cost to a club longer term, not good.

You must be well pleased with Lampard at the moment pal. Future England manager I hope, was a great player

I think Poch orchestrated his own sacking, he signed a new contract just before Real came looking, he did the morally right thing at the time but his head was turned and he started making odd statements, apparently he has missed a lot of training sessions recently and his door once always open became closed... he didn't win us anything but we've had a great 5 years of highs and lows, sad to see him go and not too happy about Morinhio but we got to give him a chance.... if he wins something or gets us into top 4 then he will be heralded... funny how football works, full of fickle players and fans

I think he will do a job providing he does not buy a Pogba or Costa who cost him his job on two occasions

Lampard has surprised me to be honest. Glad he has jody morris along side him as he manged most of these kids in the academy so knows them well. I think in 2/3 years they will go onto be a great side.

There's only one Orchestral leader at THFC and that's Levy
