Well, I guess this is one of those games where you get false hopes and think that we can play as a team prior to be hugely disappointed a few games later in a tournament

7 nil is a good result for anyone...

Montenegro is probably about the size of Mr townley's garden....

And thone who booed Joe gomez when he came on should just f*** off back to their caves. What a bunch of d heads. Hats off to sterling for being the first to condemn them

Kane beats Shearers record. Would be a great singing for UTD. A player of his quality will want to win trophies etc. Not going to happen at Spurs

Some good youth coming through and given an opportunity which is nice to see

I can certainly see the point and discussions about club rivalries now. Nobody is bigger than England, ****s

Same old same old , play no one in the qualifiers , everyone builds them up when they are average at best only to be shot down when the tournament arrives !!! Kane will be spain bound in the summer , utd would need at least 5 other players plus him to even think about challenging , it aint gonna happen.

As the pundits said last night... a top side would have taken advantage of the sloppy playing out from the back.... and its not good if Pickford is the best keeper we have,

They say harry would struggle with the language if he moved to Spain. ...

But he's managed to survive in North London so far whilst struggling with English. ..

And jimmer I agree about pickford. I reckon we've already got 3 English keepers better than him. Pope, Forster and young Henderson are all an improvement on him for me.

So, your saying playing for Spurs is a bigger achievement than playing for you country?

As in the context of playing in unity for England reguardless of which ****ty club you play for or who you think you are, 100% effort for England or don't play for me, smple, there's a lot of hidden agendas and a lot of ego's by the sounds of it

If these stars are not bothered drop the ****s, I would sooner give the kids a go and go down fighting than watch the usual ****

Judging by who has received caps over the last few years it's certainly harder to get in a club side than it is the England squad....Are you trying to say that players should put country before club ???? I totally agree but they don't, how many are injured for England yet manage the league game the following Saturday or how many suddenly feel well enough to sit in a casino.... £1500 they get for playing for England to them it ain't worth getting out of some tarts bed for

Agree with what you say, the day when club means more than country that says it all for me, passion, zero

Unfortunately the pride has gone out of england and im not talking just football !! We are a laughing stock to the rest of europe and america , as i previously stated i stopped following england in gazzas era when we could and should have won the euros ! Club football is so much more important to players and to the managers , ask any liverpool supporter if they would like the players to be playing international football !

I have to agree with that last point Jeff. Hoping nobody gets injured playing against a part timer from San Marino is something most club fans would recognise.

The clubs pay the players weekly wage which for most is way more than the international rate so you can see how financially it plays out.

But beyond that how is a young lad like Joe gomez supposed to feel pride when he gets booed by his own fans simply because someone else had a go at him?!?

Some players in recent years have got it right. Beckham, Gerrard Shearer etc always looked like they had that sense of pride.

Him and Gomez had a bust up, Gomez had a few scratches on his face as a result. Now they have put their hand bags away I think they are friends again.

Once Sterling comes out and admits that he's on the other bus he may just calm down and get on with things
Are you sure?
