Agree
The potential is there, ref needs to make final call. Long way to go but it's gonna be very costly for some clubs sadly
Today's game I think wiĺl be a cracker. Pressure is on City for me, not you lot, they need the win, I'm guessing you would take the draw?
Prediction from me, no idea, could go either way
Just hope it's as good as it looks on paper

A draw is obviously better for us than for city but to be honest I really want the win. After last season it was the defeat to city and then a few draws afterwards that let them in for the title.
We've got a stupid amount of games over the next couple of months so 3 points would be massive today

Anybody got a life raft we can borrow. At this rate I think we are going to need one...or several. I thought last week was bad, but yesterday...

A win could put them into 4th
A win could put them into 4th
We'll have that

Great game for a neutral
You must be well pleased with that result
To be fair it's goals that matter but City are still the best team in that league by a country mile imho, dominated the game and I've never seen them miss so many chances as well as one deffo penalty, possibly two? Aguero could have had 3 in the first half and they hit the post.
Kompany is a massive loss for them, Bravo will be out lol, two massive **** ups for the Scouse goals, and a great, typical, Salah goal!
Great game
You must be well pleased Mal, onwards and upwards

Yeah well chuffed
We got lucky with the penalty shout early on, but no mistaking the quality of Fabinho's hit.
If var had given the penalty against Trent, would our goal gave still stood? I'm assuming it would have to as in all the other var calls where play continues they haven't discounted the following 2 or 3 minutes of action... play to the whistle city....
Would have been a very interesting call.
City probably controlled the game in terms of possession etc but we were just more efficient. We were good going forward and defended well as the game went on. If we are still this far ahead in January I'll be a happy man

If the penalty was given, think of the uproar if your goal had to be disallowed

I know it would have gone mental!
They've said that if city had scored then it would have been chalked off for the handball by silva just before it hits Trent. ..
What a mess!
Still the end result was right so no harm done

I think it will stay as it is till the end of the season now and then it will be reviewed

I think you're probably right there jimmer
I'm still overall in favour of it. It was always going to take time to bed in. Some of the decisions have been baffling though.
Your lot targeting the champions league this year then?

Well we play a helluva lot better in the CL.... top four a gap is opening up but we only 3 points off 5th at the mo....get a run going and who knows but they got to earn the right to be there.... well impressed with Sheffield at the weekend they are going to bloody a few noses this season

They've got a settled team and a good system that works for them.
We were a bit lucky to get the win against them.
I think the top 4 is going to be the 4 teams that are there now. Maybe not in that order though...
Hopefully a few more teams will take advantage of city being under strength at the minute.

An interesting game coming up Mal, City and Chelski, could be another point for City or a thrashing for Chelski
