It was an interesting game really. UTD pressed their wing backs and they couldn't break. Dominated the first half, 2nd half Klop changed to 442. UTD changed to 5 at the back and let them come at them, that was their error for me. Should have continued to take it too them. Sadly, UTD lacking fire power and lost in the last 20 yds again, can't even score from set pieces either.

Mane worked his ******** off, Firminio not at the races. Defensive error by Rocco the goal who was brought in to cover an Injury

The Spurs game could be interesting, see if they do the same?

Interesting when you look at the table though at the minute, except for the top two, a couple of wins for any club could take them up their, pending the others of course

I notice Chelski and Fat Frank are stringing a few together now too

United took a leaf out of Sheffield united's book in their tactics. They played the same kind of system and we found it hard to break down.

Says something that Man Utd have to copy Sheffield Utd though...

United fans will probably be buzzing at the result. Today was their cup final after all

We didn't play well first half. Improved after the break. Firmino should have buried a couple of decent chances but looked less than his best today. We definitely missed Salah. More so because it meant that Mane started on the right which threw things up front for us.

The Utd goal came after a clear foul on Origi. Not sure why that one was allowed to stand when the one in the Leicester game yesterday was overturned? But having said that, we had time to defend it better. Can't complain about the Mane handball one after the precedent set this season.

United played to not lose - job done.

We had a poor game and got a draw because we carried on playing and probing when it became attack vs defence. United were hanging on at the end. If we'd played with more urgency throughout it could've been different.

I did say this was going to be a tricky one....

Some weird results this weekend, didn't see Liverpool losing, I thought West Ham would turn Everton over and end what appears to be a jinx, your right about Chelsea playing well but the really strange thing is, the spunk's never got beat

And that's without Pogba in the side

Interesting about the foul Mal because if you watch it the ref was stood straight in front of it and saw everything, I think he mis-footed The scousers were shouting for VAR, not the ref. Ref can override it anyway

When you are bringing Chambering and Llana on you have not got much strength in depth in the locker

Nice to see Klop getting his feathers ruffled for a change

I notice there was controversy with your last minute corner

The thing with VAR is are we using it or not. They should make it simple and give each caption 3 calls a game, or better still leave it to the ref. And another one, where's the cut off point where the ref lets it go, can we really go back 5 minutes to an earlier could ffs

He did get a bit wound up eh?

Our subs bench isn't as strong as city's but the Ox and lallana would be starters at most prem clubs. And lallana did get the goal so clearly klopp made a genius call there

He should have nade the call 10 mins earlier , that was a very poor performance from us , gutted.
It was clearly a foul but it was at old trafford if it was at anfield we would have got it !

On another note. Just watched the first half of sheff u and the arse. Utd , very good and deserved the lead, surprised me really, chased everything, still another 45 minutes to play though!

Sorry Spuds but we've let you down our second defeat of the season means we've allowed Sheffield Utd to get as many points as you.
Are you sure?
