It's not THAT bad...

This definitely isn't our best team. We've 2 better full backs who aren't playing.

This team can't play out from the back. Then they play it long and bypass the midfield and the young lads up front can't hold the ball up. No pace or urgency on the counter attacking.

I like Mount too. Only really him and sterling have earned their cap tonight.

Keane and maguire look like lumbering old dinosaurs in defence.

Defiantely too many spuds in that England team. Kick the ****ing lot out, can't be a lot worse, and that Scouse pratt Henderson too. ****ing awful performance, couldn't even be bothered to run half the time.


Edit: Is TAA injured or sidelined from cards? Cause i genuinely can't see a reason not to play him.

Pretty sure Trent isn't injured.

Henderson improved 2nd half but still nowhere near the standard he gets to each week for Liverpool.

There's no point playing a 4231 formation and then hoofing the ball upfield. You miss out your 2 defensive midfielders every time.

Rose and Keane should be sent home now after that showing...

Spot on about formation, just wipes our midfield out, anybody can just play straight through it

Can't see it getting any better myself. Back to basics again, 442. To be fair I would like to see him play 451 and just dominate midfield with Kane up front

I just hope and pray Lampard does well at Chelsea and one day he gets the job. Southgate will take us no further for me unless he is prepared to change. Having the ball means nothing, it's about getting it into the back of the net

It all comes down to our players are just not good enough , look at the premier league all teams top players are foreign !
Stopped watching england in the 90s utter rubbish .same old crap every tournament , made me laugh saying southgate did well in world cup !!! Played no one ,when we played a half decent team we went out.Im liverpool through and through Henderson puts a shift in when he plays for us but my god he is no england player the same can be said about another 5 or 6 , whats happened to maguire since he went to man u*****d! Rose wouldnt get in local pub team !
