To call it 'slow' is putting it mildly. It would take England another 133 overs to reach Pakistan's score if they keep going at the current rate. That would take us until the end of tomorrow.

Finally a win! What a great series even though we lost 1-2 but it was too a hugely talented Indian batting side. Those last two overs had me on the edge of my seat, that's for sure. Well done England today. 
Two years since the last post in the thread. I guess cricket isn't that popular with the carp fishing masses.
Anyway, though not the Ashes (ATM) it's good to see that we have started an Ashes year with some resounding batting and bowling at The Kingston Oval..NOT!.

That pitch did nothing yesterday, the lower order should provide some entertainment....

Whilst not taking anything away from the Windies bowlers surely we can't bat as bad as we did in the 1st innings.
They certainly read the pitch wrong when picking the team.
Problem is they can't trust the batting so bowlers like Leach don't get a look in cos he can't bat like Ali or Rashid.
Still be a good one to win.

I can't understand why Broad was left out, granted currans stature has risen to the point he shouldn't be dropped, but why two spinners on that pitch?
I can only think he's having problems with the changes he's had to make to his action.
This series is gonna test stokes' fitness, given his history I can't see him getting through bowling 40 overs a match, and with the world Cup round the corner I hope someone else can step up to reduce his workload.
I'm quite liking the talksport commentary too, especially now I don't have to hear boycotts doom and gloom

They read the pitch wrong thinking it will be a spinners wicket. Agree with Curran but he's not a new ball bowler
and they won't drop Anderson so it was Broad that got the boot on a pitch that would have been perfect for him.

I think on some English wickets he could take the new ball, but not on this type that need a bit more pace. I wouldn't drop broad in English conditions though. Woakes would have been a better choice than rashid here.

There's always room for another all-rounder
I can't see jennings opening against aus.
I wouldn't mind seeing Roy or hayles given a go, at least if they only last three overs there will be 30 runs on the board
