Good morning Gents,

Just a quick post to inform you all that as the new season gets closer and closer, we have managed to get the food package, bait ordering system and tackle shop infrastructure in place!
There has also been the annual overhaul of the road that surrounds the lakes on the complex so it should remain bump-free and user friendly for 2013!

Full details of the food and bait services are available for all to see on the .co.uk website and within the next couple of days, there will also be downloadable forms for you all to use to secure both these exciting offers.

After a lengthy discussion, the decision was made to run with a more manageable number of suppliers to the on-site tackle shop, so for the time being at least there will be terminal tackle and all the necessary odds'n'sods you might need from Fox, Avid, Gardner and RigMarole. Matrix Innovations will be looking after the tarty ones amongst you and the new clothing brand, Navitas Apparel, will be catering for any outfitting requirements!

Keep your eyes peeled for some incredible offers on a whole host of Mainline products too as we need to make a little extra space in-store as we enter the new season, these'll be posted from time to time on both the website and BOTH our Facebook pages as well as obviously being advertised within the clubhouse to Anglers who're already fishing at Abbey.. Be warned these'll be solely on a first come - first served basis so be sure not to miss out!!

The one thing we're not going to proceed with (in the immediate future) is the Baitboat hire program so please be aware that you'll need to make alternative arrangements in the UK prior to travelling across if you don't already possess one? Like I say, this is a temporary notice and once we have a little less on our plates regards keeping Abbey at the top of the tree I'm sure we'll have a little more time to sit down and find a way to provide this service once again..

T-7 days people, look forward to seeing some of you on the bank again very soon,

Ru

Morning!

Just to put you all in the picture, weather doesn't look rosy at all for THIS week (up to the 17th) but is turning positively tropical after friday and next week's average temps should be around 15-19°C.... IF the weathermen are to be believed but it's a tough call as they're changing their minds every few hours on the long range forecast?

We have 20mm of snow forecast for today, the same for tuesday, -15°C on wednesday night and another helping of snow on thursday this week before it all ****s off and leaves us in peace and quiet!

Rock on the 15th gents, whoever is booked in for the following 7 days MAY just have a proper result on the cards?!?!

See you all soon,

Ru

Just had a thought, none fishing related. Is there any provision at Abbey for watching the Rugby at the weekend?
