Think you will be ok in September, unless of course there a resurgence of the virus before then.

There's an interesting article in the independent today about the French lockdown. A huge chunk of NE and some east central parts of France are classified red . This includes Paris the champagne area, Dijon and venues close to Belgium and German borders.
Red means these areas are going to come out of lockdown more slowly than orange/green areas. Brittany and parts of Normandy are green/orange areas.
So, it looks like it's gonna depend where you venue is that might determine whether or not you will be able to fish. I'm sure there are other variables too, but anyone with a venue to the north east/est central might be disappointed.

As far as I know, the whole of France´s 100 regions have been classified as either red (strongest restrictions) or green (less restrictions), having watched a sky news article earlier it was suggested that you can travel from a green to green region but not stopping at all in a red region, you are not allowed to travel from a red to green, or green to red region, sounds like a plan!

Had an email from the trains today stating that they are extending any frequent traveler tickets for 12 months, good shout I say it's not going to get us fishing at the minute but shows they value your custom

Also this article:
https://www.connexionfrance.com/French-news/End-of-lockdown-in-France-travel-rules
Which finishes with the statement “ Rules on international travel are not expected to change in May. Borders will remain closed until further notice. The restrictions will be maintained until at least June 15 with European countries unless there are imperative reasons to travel, such as work or an urgent family reason (childcare for divorced parents for example). ”

As long as you are prepared to self isolate for 14 days on your return! The latest Lunacy from the UK government apparently.

There is a possibility that the EU borders will be closed for non EU members.
Or you should put yourself 14 days in quarantaine before entering.
This is still in debate within the EU.
Current rumors only talk about free traffic only for EU members.
Don't know how this will play out...
