It was a good race, really loving that the whole pack could win and the points are so close. Felt for Rossi but at the same time I can't help but think he doesn't give it his all anymore, can only see him going one way with all the other riders coming through.
I expected more from Mizano, seemed to be a lot of cagey riding going on, with all those bends I was expecting some real scraps but a lot seemed happy to just be following round.

Rossi has always thrived on performing for the crowds, must feel strange for the riders racing in virtually empty stadiums as the atmosphere just cannot be there. The venues must have lost huge amounts in ticket sales and revenue from the food and merchandise stalls.

You're not wrong, bit soulless isn't it :-(

As a aside, is the BT camera work annoying others like it is me, some of the decisions to show replays when any man and his dog can see a incedent/manoeuvre is about to happen, been happening a lot lately, much more so than previous years

BT get the feed from Dorna like everyone else. It is their director that chooses what goes out.

the track was resurfaced and was meant to be changing the pit areas but have said they don't have the money..from the helicopter camera it showed outside the track totally dead.last year when there you couldn't move for beer tents and merchandise stools..add to that the local towns and hotels will be effected..very sad times..

Sadly I don't think next year is going to be any better but time will tell. On a personal note had three tours on the bike cancelled this year so ended up going back to Scotland via Wales and back through Yorkshire so was nice to get away. Been over to the Isle of Wight for a peak at the proposed tt cercuit for next year and hope it goes ahead.

I was gutted for the old boy when he binned it in the kitty litter. was sure he was going to get his 200th podium that day..im sure it will come before the seasons out, if not definitely next year on the petronas..getting pissed of with the arm chair fans over on the Moto gp social media pages always saying he should retire..bolox should he, the rest who finish behind him then should retire also..alot came off at Catalunya, have to remember the race is usually run in June when track temp is much higher. Michelin balsed that race up with tyre allocations..

Aren't they all on Michelins like WSB are all on Pirelli's?

Yes but Michelin choose the 2 compounds that will be used and they can change how hard or soft they for each race. So if they get that wrong it makes it harder for the riders.

Nice one Trev, same as WSB, same brand and a few different compounds

Tend to follow WSB and BSB but love MotoGP

I remember the link mate but never followed it up. Thank you
