So the protest against the banning of peaceful protests has turned into bedlam. These same ****ing idiots wonder why measures need bringing in to begin with

1. Round them all up, £5000 fine, that will go towards the PPE bill and damage thank you. Better still, spray them with dye, its pink this week, look out for the ****s
2. Inform their employers, what a **** you employ
There should be no social gatherings, some idiots just feel they have the right to take to the streets when they like, ****ing muppets!
And as for protests, when they are allowed, not ideal at all but if it's a peaceful one then fair play. Any rioting, hit them hard, set an example, please!

If you want to be right on and slip on a hemp cardigan, go and protest for whatever you want. I haven't got a problem with the gathering in ‘lockdown' and funnily enough neither would the police.
It's the ****s in society who predictably exhibit the exact behaviour this bill came in for. Selfish ****s, risking other people's safety for going to work. Absolute vermin and the **** on society's boot.

You think this government should have the right to take away our right to demonstrate , would you call all those people who stood up against , Iraq war , poll tax were unjustified , you have a very twisted view on demonstrators , this lot should not be trusted with the power that they have , they prove why daily and Priti Patel , she was sacked by Cameron for good reason .

They are not taking away the right to stand shoulder to shoulder for a common cause..
They're taking away the right to stand in the middle of a busy road to do it.
What is peaceful about disrupting other people's lives and businesses?

Yep , it did get a bit lively and yes , the di**heads have given Priti Patel more amo to push through her bullsh** bill , things are going to get very ugly over the next few years , it's inevitable , the establishment is out of control in the UK and we are being exploited , this government is close to being a mafia and we are heading in the direction of an authoritarian state to enable it !

I absolutely condemn violent protest. And any that endangers the health and safety of others.
Sometimes protest needs to be disruptive to get attention. If it doesn't affect let's say rush hour traffic, then most people are so self centered that they'll just carry on ignoring it as 'it doesn't affect them'. Ask the tube drivers union reps... they'll be able to explain it.
Meeting violence with violence won't solve anything.
Unfortunately even the most peacefully intended protest can be spoiled by the mindless few who will hijack it for their own desire for violence and vandalism.
The bill contravenes (potentially) the bill of human rights that we as a country are already signed up to.
It's just one of many ways in which Patel is manoeuvring laws and regulations to suit her increasingly totalitarian state. The possible end point of this is that all public opposition and protest will be deemed illegal. Scary prospect. Or at least it should be.

Tend to disagree with that Mal, it's the message that it sends out, the right one, be careful. What's the old saying, if you carry a big stick it very unlikely you will need to use it. However, if you come under constant scrutiny it comes to the point you cannot use any force, or that's what the snowflakes probably want, everybody will want a piece of the action because they know they can get away with it, and they will, and that's is exactly what we are heading towards now
There are some proper horrible ****s about and until a snowflake gets popped or beaten up by one they will never realise!
Last night, happens near on weekly, a female police officer got a good hiding by a “man” she had a student with her, he got one too. Good news is one of the team used to be a body builder and ex prison officer, 20 stone of muscle, sparked the **** out, and that happens REGULAR!
I suppose you are going to say that's the joys of the job aren't you? Yeah, people take a job to get their face smashed in don't they!

I expected you would disagree.
My view is simple. If the way to 'win' is to be the person who can hit hardest / shoot the most people / drop the bigger bomb then that's the only message you are sending out - I.e. That violence is the way forward. Which will breed more and more of those horrible ****s you rightly say are out there.
If the message you want to put out is 'be careful' then it begs the question 'or...?' To which your response seems to be 'or I'll hit you'. That's your basic dictatorship/ police state right there. Not for me I'm afraid.
As for your anecdote- so it's ok for the big policeman to punch someone out? No. It's not. Because that little toe rag who hit the female officer now has grounds to claim unfair treatment by the police. So he gets off / or a lighter sentence. And is back out doing the same horrible **** tricks again.
I'm not saying people take the job to get punched in the face, but they shouldn't be taking the job thinking it gives them free reign to do it either. It's a known risk when recruits sign up. And it's why there's respect for officers who put themselves in the firing line (from many if not all). Part of my day to day is the much lesser risk of some testosterone fuelled Y10 getting mouthy and calling me a ****. Should I be showing him who is boss by resorting to the same thing? If there's a fight at break, should we send in the ex military tech teacher to beat them up? No.
I prefer the motto 'to serve and protect' over 'don't mess or we'll **** you up'
