Slightly o/t but why are the womens test matches called the ashes? There is reason the ashes have that name. When did this happen in women's cricket??

After that morning I half expect to see them bat most of tomorrow then see if England collapse or stick it out for draw saturday

Ralph, the ballot opens today to get tickets for next year's oval test (final match vs pak) I usually get lucky with tickets this way, I probably won't bother for that one tho

Has the look of a draw, doesn't it. I think Cooke/England was seduced by another green tinged wicket, but the Oval definitely is not Trent Bridge! Was feeling sorry for Jimmy A. but perhaps he is glad he is still unfit.

I think this series is marking the end of test cricket as we know it, and I for one are very sad.
A test is a test of all parts of a sportspersons mental and physical abilities, this seem to have been lost now, when one team gets the upperhand , that's it, game over , no steel and backbone anymore. they might aswell go ahead with the idea 90 overs each per innings and be done with it

I really must stop predicting a result. A draw...as if!

IMO 20/20 cricket sounded the death knell for proper cricket. I hate it with a passion.

Imagine spending around 500 quid watching the last two days live. And having my father in law for company yesterday, who makes boycott seem like a positive, optimistic glass half full kind of character
