Pep Guardiola has now spent nearly £1BILLION in transfer fees during management spells at Manchester City, Barcelona and Bayern Munich
That's pretty amazing
City's hierarchy, who have already backed Guardiola to the tune of almost £450m since he took charge in June 2016, believe there is no cause for alarm and will continue with plans to sign a defensive midfielder, versatile forward and probably a centre-half.

interesting.... 5 year nett spend table endorses my point.... Spurs were 18th so just shows the top four finishes and CL final achieved by Pochettino since he arrived do him proud
