Did Ribiere not offer other dates for you? I thought fisheries had to?

Wow, I'm really surprised at that! Do they think all the anglers on here, that see that are going to think they are fair?! What about the year after that? Is it worth booking something just to keep the coin??

I expect they offered you that hoping you would not take it , keep your 30% and sell that date to someone else .

Was due out to Jurassica 2 on May 2nd but its now been moved to mid September. No dramas, just need to get voucher back from ferry operator and rebook.

That's a very good point. This isn't just going to go away overnight. I would definitely not book a trip with them for the next couple of years if my deposit was at risk.

Very true mate. Those anglers on here who have been on the wrong end of deposits being lost/taken, i'm sure will not go to any of the lakes mentioned ..also, I doubt the many anglers seeing these issues will also go also go elsewhere..
What surprises me is, the fisheries, the owners, the issues, they have not come forward to disprove the information?? Why??? There have been quite a few with Domaine de la Ribière, and with Abbey to name but a handful. Checking on their FB, I see no proper announcement about their intentions during this lockdown, as far as necessary cancellations are concerned, it's like they pick & choose who to take for a ride..
But there you go, they are out there, be careful people!
And thank god we have a site like this where people can exchange facts!
Are you sure?
