Problem is these threads spill over into the fishing threads.......
Debate is fine, but when it's been debated for 3 months and insults are slowly creeping in why bother?
Edit - Greeky, spanky only posts in here, would be best off on a labour forum, Mal posts the odd comment in fishing threads so may as well be on hippy, perfect world snowflake forums and yourself should be on a forum for arguing continuously even if it's just you on there.......

Nothing wrong with the majority of threads in Non Carp it's been here since the forum was formed.
But we need to adhere to the rules
You'll see they are not draconian and there is leeway for debate, vast majority of members seem to get it just a small minority on these type of threads who don't. I've probably been guilty but just lately have tried to rise above the insults.

Just seen a video of a guy getting 7 bullets in his back in the US.......blatantly ignoring the police request to stand still......reasonable considering he was back in his car and could have produced a gun and shot them.....

It's new content coming to the fore what sparks related debate or fresh debate. If you want the threads to be finished why post new content in them to spark debate? You were very guilty of that when talking about the bbc proms were you not?
Suppose as the saying goes, you don't have to read the threads or get involved if you don't like them.

Keep popping them in Wayne, he is anti British you see, he feels oppressed by our country's values and beliefs because they do not match his and he feels out of place, bit uncomfortable with it all, likes to vent his frustrations on here, angry man. Same with his love of our law and the police service

Not sure how an explanation of why the threads keep running is drivel but okay then.

Btw just seen the video. Not sure why the cop didn't take the guy down to stop him reaching the car door. He had him by the shirt already.
Bit excessive when there was 4 cops there that could have restrained him and stopped him walking to his car and made an arrest.
