My Mrs says her school is safe as can be with the bubbles they had formed before Christmas.......Government gives guidelines and Heads have to enforce i suppose.

Forgot to say that the NEU said don't worry you'll still get full pay if you don't go in which must be tempting when you've been off the two weeks previous
My missus went in today to start testing staff, only 18 of them were in so time to get used to things, keyworker kids will be tested tomorrow

support staff / admin staff / TA's / SLT doing the testing appears to be a common theme.
I'm at home until the end of the week working online - I've noticed that my working day has become extended to just before midnight - although some of the stuff i did later on last night may have been a bit red wine enabled...
in school delivering 'live' online lessons from Monday. Not sure of the logic in saying we must be in the school building (and risk the school internet crashing due to constant use by 100+ teachers) rather than do the very same job from my table here, but it's government dictate so i won't look for any sense in it

My missus says teachers in her school get a choice, they can do lessons from home or in the building. Depending on the subject some prefer to go in because it's easier.

If kids don't have access to a laptop they can go to school as they are classed as vulnerable , hows it working out with the spring promise, that every kid was going to get a laptop ?

Yet under Trump the US has not had any wars or invaded anyone.
I'm not a Trump or Biden supporter by the way, Trump will be gone soon and the other one will be in.
I know what happens over there affects us but I 'm of the mind just let them get on with it at the moment, it's just Trumps last show of defiance in his last couple of weeks then we will see if Biden is any better.
