If all lives matter then you are saying their lives matter too. Unless you have a * to denote that you don't not feel their lives matter equally to everyone else's lives. ALL means ALL. That's when you mentioned them. By saying all you include every single person on the planet, or is it not limited to humans? ALL lives surely includes every living things, from microorganisms to trees to spiders to humans.
Or do you not support ALL lives matter, just the ones you chose? Or does it pain you that your cause of ALM is being misinterpreted? Maybe you need to clarify what you mean by ALL lives matter.

I know what you're saying Chris. For others I can only guess that their beliefs are so strong they can't start to understand what it is you're trying to say or if they do say they understand somehow it could be construed that they are showing a weakness to their cause.
Maybe agree to disagree?

Sense at last. I am glad you do Tinhead. Tunnel vision and all for others, only one thing!!!
Others are just spouting bollox to try and justify their cause, as usual

Isn't that exactly what has been done to BLM? People thinking it means black lives matter more when in fact it means black lives matter too?
Funny how it's okay to misinterpret BLM but it's so bad if i misinterpret ALM.
hypocrisy at its finest

I don't think anybody is misinterpreting it? It needs to fit into a government agenda, something to address like everything else that has been mentioned too.

You pay tax? That's your best response? How very altruistic of you. I'm sure the homeless of Sheffield are organising a march past your house right now to thank you for your efforts on their behalf...
We all pay tax. And it's compulsory. You aren't choosing to do it to support those supposedly important issues. Typical hypocritical keyboard warrior attitude, 'Something must be done! But by somebody else, I'm too busy sorry'. You hope the government will use it wisely? Brilliant. Because they've done great by the homeless so far haven't they?
As for forcing my opinion. No. I post on a thread and challenge what I perceive to be dodgy attitudes. And in case you haven't noticed, there have been plenty displayed on here. Again, you're hypocritical. I'm forcing my opinion down people's throats but you aren't?

So why is ALM more important than BLM?
Still haven't got a definition of ALM from you, seeing as it's an agenda you are pushing. Why won't you explain it to me?

There's nothing to explain, like already said below, you cannot read between the lines can you.
There are a lot more pressing things to sort out in the country than BLM. I will say it one last time. They have options, some do not.
That's just my option for what it's worth, I'm sure everybody else has there's

I get that. But you said ALM, and have done the entire time since BLM kicked off globally again. Just wondered what ALM actually means and how it defines ALL. You promote it so thought you'd be able to explain it. Clearly not.

What do you want me to do, categorise everything and drop BLM in at number 39
Lives are lives, somebody's child, so to somebody their life matters. Again, as I said below before you tried to put a pathetic twist on it. Does that explain it enough?
And for about the 5th time, some people have options and some don't so who are the ones who are really desperate?

Nail on head. When it comes down to the bottom line, I wouldn't expect anything else from you because that's what it's all about

Ok scozza - by way of trying to bring the tit for tat stuff to a peaceful conclusion... and genuinely non confrontational
It's fair enough that tackling racism - which is what BLM means to me - isn't a high priority for you. But - you have devoted a lot of time to raising objections to it / undermining it / actively dismissing it on here. Now that can easily be construed as you having your own agenda by being overtly negative about what is at it's heart a very positive movement.
As you rightly say, there are lots of worthwhile causes. Some of them feel less important to me - but I don't take time out of my day to object to them / dismiss them.
Remember also that the 'all lives matter' argument is the first line of dismissal used by the far right / white supremacists, so it often acts as that red rag to a bull for people - like me - who feel very strongly about BLM.
I speak out on this because it has a daily effect on people that I love. It's not agenda pushing, it's everyday life - and it's not an attack on you.
Hopefully this comes across as meant - like I said, non confrontational.

No I just wanted to know what ALL means. Like. I asked, is it limited to humans or does it include all living organisms too?
It wasn't a pathetic twist, it was a genuine question. If all lives matter then you wouldn't treat a terrorist differently to other humans beings. I just wanted to know if that's what you were saying or not. Isn't difficult to answer a question.
I just wanted to clarify what you stand for before entering in to a discussion about it. From your description, you're saying you don't support ALL LIVES MATTER. What you support is that everyone's life matters to someone, even if it's not yourself?
