Was due out on main basin 24th April, obviously don't expect it to happen.
I know it's only a deposit and i fully expect to lose it but just wondered if anyone's heard or chased anything.

Emailed Melanie and she's working from home.
We was due out on 17th April, I got a voucher from Eurotunnel for crossing but doubt we will get deposit back.

Didn't bother doing the tunnel as I have a frequent traveller pass luckily.
Just have to hold tight at the moment I guess.

Not sure if you've heard back but they are changing dates to another date this year, deposit transferred towards a swim next year but you still have to apply via email 1st July for pegs or a full refund!

To be honest i thought it would a ball ache to try and sort anything and was expecting to lose the deposit so fair play to them.

Currently moved my booking to later this year, if that still doesn't happen i will probably take a refund and then go in 1st July for what i want next year, i expect it to be a busy email day!

Have a look at the map with the swims numbered.

Pegs are marked if you can park behind them or have to boat to them.

Easy van access swims are 2, 16, 12, 13, 17, 47, 7, 14, 50, 21, 22, (if dry), 28, 29, 30, 24, 25, 35, not sure about the other side of south basin as I've never fished that side.

Going to be hot 🥵
Margins are worth a shout, then just spread rods at various distances.
Campsite up road has showers, good restaurant that does take aways
Watch out in the day for pike anglers, school kids in dinghys and the hire boats.

I'm in 29 at the moment on main. Weather has been lovely for this time of year. Couple of hot days but then overcast and some real wind and storm, time it right and can get it bang on.

Hire boats have been ok, although keep your eye on them as they don't understand the rules. The pike anglers have been ok, the odd ruthless one, I had to clap at one 20 metres off my tips till he put his head up! Part of these places though.

Plenty of pegs free in august.
Why go for 14? At least take 50, so you can fish against the damwall.
Better take a try on the south, more chance in catching some fish.
Are you sure?
