Anglers Against Cancer charity are doing fishing, camo face masks. Given I am quite against the idea of wearing a mask I thought what better way of getting one than by contributing to charity at the same time since it is now compulsory to have one in many places

Infection rates falling dramatically nationwide for weeks, without masks. 2m separation in place. I cant see the logic for there use.

I can see the logic for their use. It's the logic of mandating their use several months after we should have been doing it that I don't get.

*Have to say I don't get the logic of a mask with added carp tax though lol.

Can't put my finger on exactly why but the idea of wearing a mask out and about is something that makes me feel very uneasy and in honesty it will limit where I go and what I do when the rule is enforced in Wales, noting it is not mandatory apart from on public transport, which I am avoiding partially for this reason. At the moment I am working from home but when the time comes that we are forced to go into the office I will have to bite the bullet and get on the train as this is the only feasible way for me to get there, until then will stick in the car and on my bike, but will have my charity bought mask (not charity shop as my boss thought I was referring to when we had this conversation last week) for that time

As Yonny says, I also feel that this is a step that if being taken should have been taken a long time ago and very much feels like closing the gate once the horse has already bolted

The reason they didnt tell us to rush out and buy masks at the beginning is because all the panic buying idiots would have created an even bigger shortage for the NHS

Because now things are getting opened up again, more going back to work, us who have been shielding going back out into public, all can have a drastic effect on infection rate, so with that masks being one way of slowing it down maybe? I can't see why anyone has an issue with it, after all it's only in shops etc

Stay indoors, stand here, stand there, wear a muzzle, do as you are told or face a fine.

Perhaps some of us object to living in police state conditions that are justified by a dubious virus that is no worse than winter flu.

What I find crazy is the people in the shops are not wearing masks but telling me to wear one
If you are trying to enforce it then you stick to the rules

Mate, save your breath.

Johnny, I'm all for your free speech, do as you want, just don't go anywhere near others as they too have a choice not to be risked by you

If it might help...and I mean even the smallest %age of a chance why would anyone not wear one, I don't get it is it worth risking getting it at all..if your answer to that is yes, get all your like minded mates, find a Island somewhere and stay there and cede your right to NHS help
Are you sure?
