What wellies are people wearing?
The last cheap pair of rubber boots I bought lasted a matter of days. Thinking maybe I should try some neoprene, but will get used for gardening and the brambles should shred them quicker than rubber.

I've noticed no difference in the length of time before wellies start leaking between cheap (£10) and relatively expensive (£40) brands, so I'm currently wearing the £10 Dunlop ones and they're fine. I also have a pair of neoprene Muck Boots for winter, but they're far too warm for summer use.

I'd personally pop in a large gun shop, I bought a pair of cheaper neoprene wellies which were £60 2years ago and there still going strong.

I bought a pair of Navitas Lite wellingtons and they are excellent. Comfy as slippers and they are that light, you do not know your wearing them. They come with thermal felt liners that you use in winter and without for summer. Plus you can use the liner as a bivvy shoe if you have cold feet in your sleeping bag during winter. As well as fresh water fishing all year round, I also use them in the depths of winter for beach fishing and never get cold feet.
I got mine from Go outdoors for about £19 years ago and they are still going strong. Plenty on Ebay and going price is around £32
