Bows fishing lakes have said
"In light of the current coronavirus outbreak, we would like all our customers to know that should the borders close on your day of departure and you are unable to make it to us, we will issue you a full refund. However it will be for this reason only."

Hopefully it won't come to this but hopefully other lakes will follow suit if it does.

Im not booked with them but cretelakes are saying trips going ahead as normal at the moment. On the coronavirus thread it was said that French lakes wont be closed unlike a lot of french business so i guess its just the borders being closed that's going to stop us? 🤞🤞 im on a drive and survive trip to le prunet 3rd of April. We plan on taking enough supplies for a week so wont even need a trip to supermarket so wont come into contact with anyone. Obviously none of that matters if we cant go through the tunnel.

Just had an email back from lac desire, saying they have no plans to close and if our date cant be moved they would give us a refund, cant really ask for more than that

In another week or 2 they might all be shut to foreigners even if they are able to find a means of travelling to France, like all businesses involved with the leisure industry it is going to cause chaos!! A lot of fisheries won´t be able to offer alternative dates, might be the same in the UK soon?

We're supposed to be going out on the 6th June for a week.
Small fishery, we've visited it a few times now and have become firm friends with the owner. Have paid in full.
I've "casually" broached the subject with her regarding a possible curtailment due to ferry/tunnel closures and she has responded thus...... "Obviously you will get your week at some point hopefully the week you've booked. x" so I'm assuming that she'll roll the week over for us.

Rainbow lake has taken the decision to close as of yesterday, you don't pay until you arrive so nobody loses any money only the trip.

Mates of mine are booked on Chatilliers early May I cannot go this year, Delphine and JP the owners have messaged in the Whatsapp group they have setup to say they will amend it to another week if their not allowed to travel, makes sense for any respectable owner with repeat customers year on year not to be short sighted.

Seems like Abbey lakes are now going to refund anglers incase of lock down and are urging all French fisheries to follow suit so here's hoping🤞🏻
