Story of the year so far a Monster Bass of 22lb was caught in Bristol channel last night and the captor released it amazing She must be at least 40 years old I would guess and she is back swimming what a genuine Angler huge respect

Total respect to the angler for the catch and most importantly, for the release. What a fish! I only fish for them on lures here on the south coast of Cornwall and for a few months in the summer / autumn and I'm still dreaming of a double after years of trying. What a fish... Dreamland...

Amazing fish and well done the angler for releasing it.
The picture is great too, a smiling angler, looking at the camera and not the fish! Looks good doesn't it?

A 10lb bass now days is a fish of a life time. Well done mate👍🏻 My biggest is still only 5lb off the beach in Folkestone caught on peeler crab.
To the op thanks for sharing, Absolutely incredible capture!! And made all the better for him putting it back. What bait was he using? Do you know?
