Haven't fished atilla myself, but the complex sees all sorts of baits so take whatever you are confident with. Lots of crays on the complex so make sure you take plenty of hardened baits, and mesh too. I'd avoid too many pellets but cause of the crays too. Bit of particle is worth taking

I spoke to some lads who were on atilla while I was there this summer, and they were fishing exactly as you would over here other than using hard hook baits. They were doing quite well considering it was the middle of the heatwave and knocking towards 40 degrees some days. Steve the bailiff did advise me to use mainline bait while I was out there as that's what they sell, but I used my own rolled baits and had more on the lake I was on than the other 5 on there combined so don't think all that expensive, low grade gear is necessary

Thanks ip
Im thinking about taking 20kg boilies
Plus some particles and pellets with me will that be enough ??
Don't have a bait boat so I'll be spoding do they react to spods ?

Not sure on that one, but on wild boar it killed it when I used a spod. Using single boat loads was the way to go. Every time we used a spod that spot would dry up for a couple of days. With the boat I had a couple of runs before I'd even got the boat back to the bank. I'd be wary of pellets, the crays in there can be horrendous, and apparently the one we fished was the one with least crays in.
I'd say 20kg of boilie would be plenty, and is take another 20 of particle too. Take a load of it dry and prep it there if needed.
They do hire bait boats out if you want one

I fished fox, throwing stick and 2 or 3 rods onto a big baited area worked well for me and my mate in an open water swims if you dont wanna use a spod

I've got a session booked on Kingfisher late next year (already getting excited!)

A couple of questions re boats (assuming the rules don't change....)

Are you allowed to bait up and drop rigs from boats? Rules seem to indicate not allowed, but there are some videos on youtube showing rigs being taken out and dropped.

Are there boats there to use or would I need to take mine with me? I've got a porta-bote so could put it on the roof at the expense of a roof box.

Thanks
