Botham said on commentary 'someone said last night that Warne doesn't turn it'

Typical England throwing away a good position with a batting collapse, how often the top 5 are out for under 80 runs!
This lot will never win an ashes series

That pieterson bloke should stick to pyjama cricket too clearly not a test match player

Can we get geoffreys gran in the top order with her stick of rhubarb, can't be any worse than this lot

Well played the WIndies.

Its about time Buttler is dropped for Foakes.
Don't understand why Broad didn't play and surely with mostly right handers a left arm spinner would have
been a better bet.
Also time for Denly to depart plenty of starts then throws it away.

Roll on Thursday.

Bess I suppose was the man in possession
I don't think we'll see Jimmy and broad in the same side often now
Totally agree re foakes and denly, i think foakes needs a game or two to get some runs though

Denly misses out, Anderson and wood rested. Have to assume broad is back in but is it woakes or Curran alongside him?

With Curran in the side he will help Bess to the right handers
Archer why are they driving themselves and not in coach?

I really don't understand it either.
Was that a collapse or a wobble? I'm never quite sure

Sri Lanka were awful today!

At what point does foakes tell the ecb to do one and go play some franchise cricket instead of going all round the world to sit on his ass? Or is there as a keeping coach for the other two?
Nice to see bess bowl well.
Lawrence will need some runs, that drop

Thing is Bess didn't bowl that well Sri Lanka batted poorly.
Leach bowled superb but only took 1 but that's the way it goes.
Broad again started it all off.
Bairstow and Root batted well need a decent score as batting last on that won't be easy unless Sri Lanka capitulate again.

Root was majestic today and Lawrence done well but he is still way down the order when everyone is available.

Not had a chance to see the highlights yet but it sounded like a good knock, hope it continues tomorrow so England don't have to bat last
Burns will struggle to get back in let alone Lawrence!
Especially now bairstows got his foot back in the door

Well played Sri Lanka to make us bat again 74 not going to be easy but should do it.
I think our spinners bowl a little bit quicker so don't get as much consistent turn as the oppo.

Oops and Sibley goes
