Am i right both these lines are "fast" sinking.
Other than one is in a green box and one is in a red box.
Has anyone noticed any differance when using it?
Is one better than the other?

The loaded is still a decent line but it's less supply, takes a set (coiling), and doesn't deal with twist as well as the XT. Imo.

Less twist with the XT and generally better behaved, as tough a line as you'll find and casts well (sitting behind my rods now at 120yds using 15lb XT).

I've used the loaded for a few years now and been pretty much happy with it, but i thought it was all the same stuff. So I'm going to give the xt a go, i fancy a change. Thanks all for your replies.

Just read your original post and the Gardiner HD is VERY good also and sinks quicker / better than both having used all of them..
I have gone for the HD on all my reels..!!

If you guys like the Loaded you'll love the XT - It's up there with the best all-rounders imo.

I used the synchro XT for a Belgium canal trip due to not being able to pick up any GR60, well all I can say is the lines brutally strong, I got picked up by a 600 tonne barge (came through fully loaded scrapping the bottom) and I had no choice but to pull for a break as it was spooling me! After managing to pull free thankfully I inspected the line and to say it was savagely damaged is an understatement, I decided to test its strength out of curiosity, got my mate to wrap it around his arm and I did the same and we were trying our best to break it! We couldn't! The syncro XT is immensely strong and reliable.

I've been using XT for a couple of years and cant fault it. My Son had spooled up with Loaded but it appeared less supple and quite springy. after a few sessions he respooled with XT. If it is only the coating that is different it makes a significant difference.

you could take a wet rag with a solution of washing up liquid reel it thru the rag it often works wonders

Anymore reviews. People seem to favour the xt over loaded. I'm currently using technium but everywhere's our of stock or asking silly money so looking at the xt as an option

I put tinder 15lb on a couple of weeks ago and stripped it off friday night,o disnt like it at all..I too had come from technium black and the technium is alot better...spooled up with technium again friday night

it was just too lively,used it at sandhurst a few weeks ago and it,very wiry,I had to check I hadnt bought the loaded by mistake, with technium black being so limp I just couldnt get used to it

I loaded mine up in 10lb and then lock down happened, since then the weeds come up so I got one session out of it, first impressions are good though.

used both and they are both excellent also it lasts/ retains knot strength for ages unlike technium.Seems to get better when its been on the reel a few sessions .Yes sometimes you have to strip a few yards off occasionally as with all lines because it is often in contact with the bottom and suffers the worst twist

Been using the loaded version for several years and very happy with it. About to spool up with the normal version tonight just to see how they compare (read many reports suggesting the normal version is superior to the loaded so thought I would try)

It's better all round. It's all I've been using (apart from a brief forray per another thread I created a few weeks back). In all.honesty I can't fault the XT, it casts better than the loaded, sinks well and very abrasion resistant.
