Hi any user reviews of the deeper quest? Got the actor plus gps & sonar which to be honest is great but was wanting a better boat that maps and most importantly drives straight to point not swerving around trying to figure out which way to go. How’s the deeper for navigation etc?

I have one it does exactly what you want it to do, very well indeed , battery life is awesome the whole package is top notch. perfect size for this country. The little phone holder/ controller handle works really well . The boat is light but well made, when i used mine it coped with everything including 2 huge seagulls sitting on it and eating the bait :) . First boat i ever bought so im no expert but i feel like i bought the best one out there for me . The waypoints you can create from your scans are spot on exactly what i wanted from a boat. , you do the scan pick your spot and send the boat out , its so easy it feels like cheating. I just use it when i take my son fishing on holiday and the such , if i took it to my regular lake it would ruin the mystery of it for me. With respect to the upgrade that is now available for the deeper quest i havent really looked at that but i can imagine it just makes things even easier :).

I really like mine and I'm still getting to know everything that it does. I've not had any problems. Don't believe all the haters on the FB site where users can go for advice. There's a lot of tech on this boat so yes, it can go wrong but it's all fixable.

Deeper had a recent update to software go wrong but that's all sorted. The only thing I would say is that you can now get the boat with a downscan option. I would get the basic boat, really get to know it, and then get the downscan if you feel you need it. Many downscan users feel it's not up to scratch.

My RT4 is 10 years old and seen better days. Given Carplounge's deteriorating reputation I decided against the RT7 and took a punt on the Deeper Quest. All I can say is how impressed I am with it. It is truly an awesome boat for the money and I honestly don't think there is a better boat on the market. The tech is amazing, battery life stunning and it is so easy to use. You will not be disappointed.

Had a few issues trying to save spots with mine this weekend. Was saving the spots nowhere near where the boat was.
