Oi !

I'm looking for a setup for boat work...and came across these for, almost free imo.
How are they ? I can't imagine a rod being good for this kind of money (I also have the Elite, but they cost a couple of times more...)

I had a set of these, decent little rods, caught a couple of nice ones from Redmire on them in fact. The cork is not the best quality, and was easily damaged by tight fitting butt grips, but other than that they’re sound.

Darent valley rods. You get a lot of Rod for your money. I had a set of 10ft 3lb test rods only changed as I went over to retractable would buy again.

I think the Tacklebox might be discontinuing the range as they are selling them of cheap. But you will still be covered by there lifetime guarantee like all the own brand tackle.

I believe from what I've seen on the Socials there going to be bringing a new range of own brand tackle out. So might be worth waiting or even asking what they have in store. But if you can't wait and love a bargain, use with confidence👍😀
