I've used loads of them over the years & can't think of any that I have ever been happy with as they usually slip / become loose after a few casts - less when fishing at distance
any recommended brands to try or tips to keep them in place?

Hi Jamie,
Have you tried the Thinking Angler ones? So far for me they've been rock solid.

I found the Bank Tackle ones to be utter ****. Chucking past 50 odd yards they've moved along the shank. I tried their zig aligners once too, equally as useless. Chucking long the foam came out! Absolute trash imo.

Gardner ones are by far the best I've used

I found the esp ones split when trying to use them on a size 4 curve shank. Personally I find the Korda anti-slip ones to be better.
